Stone tray styled in a warm, considered home.

Our story / By Countertop Queens

Stone, signed by hand.

A small studio. An eye for stone. Pieces worth keeping.

Natural character. Thoughtful details.

The beginning

We started by looking down.

Countertop Queens began cutting countertops. Working with larger slabs, we noticed pieces with extraordinary veining hiding in plain sight.

Too beautiful to overlook. Too good to throw away. We began turning those pieces into trays.

Pale marble with flowing natural grey veining.
It begins with the stone.

01 / The way we work

Every tray begins with a decision.

We choose a slab. We cut it, sand it, and sign it. The stone guides the work, from the shape we see within it to the edges we finish by hand.

The veining, color and weight are part of its character. Even within the same stone, those details vary from piece to piece.

Beautiful stone. Considered finishing.

02 / The finishing touch

What we finish with.

Every tray is polished by hand and finished with solid metal handles: black, brushed nickel, gold, or our sculptural branch style.

Stone has a reassuring weight and a presence of its own. Considered proportions make these pieces at home on an entryway console, coffee table, vanity or dining table.

The finishing is thoughtful. The character belongs to the stone.

Our point of view

Fewer pieces. More intention.

We are a small studio. We take time with the stone we choose and the details we finish, creating pieces with a lasting place in your home.

Selected with intention.

We look for stone with character, then consider the shape it can become.

Finished by hand.

Cutting, sanding and polishing bring attention to the edges and details.

Kept for the everyday.

Useful pieces that bring a little natural beauty to the places you live.
